Myrrh (Commiphora Abyssinica, & Molmol) is an effective anti-microbial agent which stimulates white blood corpuscles (with anti-pathogenic actions). Myrrh may be helpful in the treatment of infections of the mouth such as ulcers, gingivitis, pyorrhea, pharyngitis, sinusitis, laryngitis, respiratory complaints, glandular fevers, common colds, and as a healing antiseptic for wounds and abrasions.
